Nightingale's Care (Gloucester) is a family-run business which was established in 1998. Since its inception, it has grown steadily and now has two distinct branches - Home Care, providing care in clients' own homes, and Agency providing staff into community hospitals and residential / nursing homes throughout Gloucestershire.

We are looking to recruit the following:

Home Care Assistants

Home Care Assistants to cover predominantly the Gloucester, Stroud and Cheltenham areas. You ideally would be available to start at 7am and be able to work some evenings and/or alternate weekends. Experience of home care work is highly desirable, but not essential.

Care Assistants and Support Workers

Care Assistants and Support Workers for work in hospitals and residential/nursing homes on six- or twelve-hour shifts, roughly 8-2 and 2-8 daytime and 8-8 for night shifts, with slight variations for the community hospitals and some homes.

For work within residential/nursing homes and hospitals, a minimum of 12 months previous experience of working within the care sector is required. An NVQ qualification in care would be advantageous. Due to the spread of work, we can only consider applicants who are car drivers with their own vehicles.
