Staff Agency

Nightingale's provides health care assistants to Nursing and Residential Homes in Gloucestershire. In addition, specially trained staff can be provided for palliative care situations in the community, and for complex care packages in the home.

All our staff are trained to high standards, receiving as a minimum all mandatory training prescribed by Care Standards. Care staff are regularly appraised by a qualified nursing member of staff and provided with clinical supervision.

In complex care domiciliary situations where care staff are provided by Nightingale's, we have an established reputation for high quality care, flexibility and careful supervision by a qualified member of staff. Close communication with the commissioner of the care package is at the heart of our care.

Staff can be provided at short notice, for day or night duty, for single shifts or longer periods. We are happy to discuss particular requirements for complex domiciliary situations.

Clinical Advice

We provide consultancy services where specialist advice is required, especially in the area of tissue viability. This may be to a practitioner in a complex clinical situation, or to a manager in order to achieve optimum effectiveness within resources. An example would be advice regarding the purchase of specialist pressure reduction equipment, bed frames etc.

Audit & Evaluations

Audits and evaluations can be undertaken to provide essential data to inform decision making, for example the condition of equipment, or staff knowledge levels prior to training.

Design of Bespoke Clinical Tools

We can provide bespoke tools for your area of care to aid best practice and fulfil the requirements of Care Standards. This includes care planning documentation and the associated training for staff in its use.
